We have now completed the Ford Mustang,we replaced the scuttle panel inner and outer skin, as the inner skin rots away because it holds rain water causing this to
rust and then water leeks into the foot wells inside the car

Morris 12 (1935)

Morris 12 four 1935. Went today we refurbished the front wings, we had them dipped and leaded where they had corroded through, we then primed,undersealed.Then the top coat we brushed painted to keep in keeping with the rest of the car as it’s all brush painted.

From the sacred scarabs of ancient Egypt to this modern marvel of motion, the beetle has always been unbeatable! This Volkswagen Beetle 1300 (1971) was almost out of commission, but with a solid weld patching, we sorted it and got it road ready in no time at all!

Austin Ruby

This is no diamond in the rough. The Austin Ruby is a classic car that shows its value from the get-go! As durable as a Ruby, this vehicle might be just as precious as one too.
This class of car was nicknamed the “Baby Austin” and for good reason, with the proper care and attention, this vehicles potential could be unleashed, brining joy to those who treasure and love as their own.
Just like the name suggests this is a vehicle to be treasured, and so, as we worked on its restoration, we took pride in our work, caring and catering for it as if it were our baby for as long as we had it with us.
Eventually though, all babies grow up and leave the nest, and once we had gotten it up to spec and ready drive free on the open road, we said goodbye to this spectacular vehicle.
In much the same way as a ruby is the most popular traditional gem, it could be argued that this should be the most popular traditional car, but it didn’t become a ruby overnight, an earlier model (with a build more closely catered to racing) won the 1928 Australian grand prix, but we think the Austin Ruby could be ready to race through any obstacle in its way (Australian or otherwise) once we’re done with it!
If you thought this seemed a special car, you were right. Many Austin 7’s including the Austin Ruby, were rebuilt as “Specials” (a car preferred for sports) after the second world war, including one of the first race cars built by Bruce McLaren!

We’ve caught the bug! The love bug that is for this vibrant Volkswagen Beetle! With a roof made of rust and issues throughout the gutters and front scuttle panel this Beetle wouldn’t be scuttling anywhere anytime soon. Triumph Stag

Triumphantly we do declare that this Triumph Stag may ride into Rome, head held high, the victor of its battle against rust and the passage of time!
This vehicle came in with rust of the bottom of the door and rear quarter panel which was readily repaired by our talented team at heatons garage.
Due to micro blisters we had to use paint striper to take the bonnet back to bare metal.
Finally, we pieced in new metal plates for that larger-than-life champion’s look only a hero returning from a triumphant victory could achieve.

After suffering a sundering fate and landing in this sorry state we took it upon ourselves to replace to front and rear wheel arches on the N/S passenger side, to take out the front screen, to sort out the holes around the front scuttle as well as restripe the passenger side. All in all, a task we tackled triumphantly, brining the inner beauty of this beast to the forefront of our thoughts. Just look at it!

This Vauxhall Corsa came in coarse with damage causing us to apply a course of corrective quality care to get this vehicle road ready and back on the right course. We replaced the northside wing, front bumper, and northside front headlight. Add to that a respray of the wheels back to black, a geometry check to ensure the steering was in line and finally, replacing the front radiator and air con radiator, we can truly say this vehicle has had its vitality restored and is ready to roll.

This Ford Mustang suffered damaged in this Brave New World, but one thing about a Mustang, even when tamed it’ll find a way to roam free again. We helped it on its way as resprayed the front end, bonnet, and front wings, blending the colour for an impressive and stylish look deserving of this vehicle. Ensuring the door mirrors and the oxidising front edge found under the bonnet were repaired and up to standard with the rest of the body was a top priority for us, with results seen here!

Porsche 944 (1984)

This Porsche 944 rolled into the workshop looking tired, sun-faded, and in need of some proper TLC. The paint had lost its sparkle and the rear arches were showing their age, so a full transformation was definitely on the cards. After a complete respray and freshly welded arches, the 944 emerged looking every bit as sharp and purposeful as she did back in 1984. A classic revived, and ready to turn heads all over again.

MG-TC

Here we have a beautiful two toned MG-TC. At Heatons we refurbished panels and car body, by leading the holes caused by corrosion. Etch primed with two pack primer, then applied top coat.
